Veronique Cotrel Studio

Interior Architect in New York

Parisian Heritage, New York Vision

Founded in 2010 by Véronique Cotrel and François Mille, the studio has built its reputation on a unique blend of creative excellence, strategic project management, and uncompromising quality. Originally based in Paris and Le Touquet, the agency expanded to New York in 2024—bringing with it the timeless codes of Parisian interior architecture, and adapting them with precision to American spaces, standards, and lifestyles.

This new chapter in New York is led on site by architect Océane Le Mener, who first discovered the city during her internship and later spent five years as a lead project architect at our Paris office. Her deep knowledge of French design culture, combined with her on-the-ground presence in New York, ensures seamless coordination and execution at every stage.

Our mission: to bring high-end interior design to New York, rooted in the elegance of Parisian tradition—moldings, noble materials, fine cabinetry, layout mastery—while respecting the constraints, architecture, and rhythm of American homes. We specialize in full renovations, and we work closely with licensed local architects whenever needed for permitting, code compliance, or construction oversight.

With over 200 full renovation projects completed in France and abroad, our agency has developed deep expertise in styles ranging from Haussmann and Art Deco to Minimal and Contemporary. We collaborate with the best artisans and suppliers in both Europe and the U.S., sourcing rare materials and timeless finishes with a discerning eye.

Whether we’re transforming a prewar Upper West Side apartment, a brownstone in Brooklyn, or a loft in Tribeca, our team applies the same method: a structured, organized, and collaborative process that ensures beauty, comfort, and longevity—within your timeline and budget.

We believe in spaces that are not only visually stunning, but deeply livable. Elegant, luminous, functional interiors where design, craftsmanship, and architecture meet with clarity and purpose.

Welcome to our world of Parisian interior design—now in New York.

A global vision, from layout to completion

At Veronique Cotrel Studio, we design and manage complete renovation projects: apartments, townhouses, offices, and professional spaces.
Our approach is based on a strong conviction: to create a coherent and elegant interior, each room must echo the next. That’s why we always begin with a global vision of the space.

A rigorous method, a dedicated team

Our process combines creative thinking, technical precision, and a firm commitment to timelines and budgets.
Each project is handled by a dedicated project manager — a trained architect or interior architect — who will be your main point of contact from concept to completion.

But projects are never handled alone.
Véronique Cotrel personally follows every project. From the first sketches to final material selections, she brings a strong artistic direction and creative sensibility to every space. You’ll often meet her in meetings, in showrooms, or at the studio — shaping every detail with care.

Structured and thoughtful execution

With a background in luxury hospitality management, François Mille ensures each project is run with clarity, structure, and consistency.
Early in the process, we present an “ideal plan” — developed after exploring different layout options — along with 3D visuals and a detailed budget breakdown by trade, including materials, labor, and optional upgrades.

This plan & budget duo forms the foundation of the project, guiding the next steps: design development, contractor selection, site supervision, and final delivery.
