Véronique is the founder and artistic director of Agence Véronique Cotrel. Since creating the studio in 2010, she has cultivated a unique architectural language: bold yet subtle, refined yet warm. Her work stands out for its stylistic coherence, sophisticated spatial compositions, and attention to every detail — from layout to material to light.

Trained at the Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués in Paris, and later at Chelsea School of Art in London, Véronique blends design sensibility with artistic freedom. Her experience across different creative cultures has shaped an approach that is both highly conceptual and deeply grounded in use and emotion.

Véronique leads every project with a clear vision and a collaborative spirit. She works closely with each member of the team to ensure that every space tells a story — one that reflects the client’s lifestyle, desires, and identity. Today, she brings this same artistic direction to the agency’s New York office, working hand-in-hand with Océane Le Mener to translate the agency’s DNA across the Atlantic.
