Every project tells a story. This one began with a first meeting during the lockdown period. Our clients initially reached out to Véronique Cotrel for the design of their country house. A few years later, they returned—this time with a new chapter: the complete renovation of their Paris apartment.

People often ask: Does the studio have a signature style?
It’s a question that requires self-reflection, which is never easy. My answer is usually this: our work doesn’t start with a style. It starts with a place. The apartment is rooted in a neighborhood, shaped by a history, by proportions, by light. It has quirks to resolve, and strengths to enhance. And just as important: the program. The clients’ needs, both functional and emotional—the number of bedrooms and their favorite color—are treated with equal attention.

It’s from this dual reading, of place and people, that we begin to shape something real.
